Went to the DR.'s

Okay so today I woke up round 8 and went and got my momma, we went house hunting, and I think we found the perfect house, dad came to meet back up with us to take a look at the two we had found. I believe they are putting in an offer today, and fingers crossed it will be accepted and that their house in Georgia will sell too, without having to take the by out!!!
then me momma and mark- my love, went to the doctors, docter grover was on call today and got called in so I was going to meet with the PA but last minute Dr grover was on her way back so we just waited for her. We went over my concerns, and I have to add she has a very level head, she is not induction happy, and she wants things to happen naturally and on their own, which even though I want him here badly I know what she says is the right thing.
so for the update I am 70% effaced 3cm dialated and inbetween -1 and 0 station, which is very exciting! last time i was at -3 station, so he is definately moving, and maybe going up and down those stairs so many times actually did help something. I a trying to stay positive I know he will come when he is ready, but I am so ready for him to be here and to meet him, and spoil the everything out of him. But as long as I see progress that is all that matters!
Ohh and PS last time I was measuring 41cm from pevic bone to fundus, which was way way way over what I should be since your cm should match how many weeks you are, and I was only 37 weeks. But this week I measured 39cm which I was alittle concerned about, but Dr Grover assured me that towards the end you loose water, plus the head is beginning to engage so that could also be reason for the size difference, she double checked just to make sure that was correct, and it was, so I guess I should be happy, because I thought I was going to have a ten lb baby because I was measuring 4 weeks ahead, but now I am closer to my actual due date and only measuring like a half a week ahead to a week ahead! yeah!
Dr Grover says she thinks she will see me next week again but I hope to see her sooner, but if not I don't mind, because it is all worth it once he comes I won't care. But I have another appt on tuesday so we will see if I progress any!!!! wish us (Mark, Me, And Eldon ) Luck!!!

Okay so today was spent hanging out with momma.. i thought the baby miht come today, i dunna call it a feeling or what ever..... but unfortunatley it is now 11:55pm and still no baby! :( very sad. But I decided not to get too depressed and just start walking so when I got home from visiting family, first momma and papa, and then my mother in law, I processed to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs to our apartments 50 times, that is 50 times up and 50 times down.... and yet still no baby, I sit in a warm bath every night, I have even gone as far as to eat spicy food, which i absolutely hate, and still no baby.... I know I know what you all are going to say " he will come when he is ready" but if my son is anything like me I know how stubborn he is and he is just holding onto something in there so as to make it to the very last minute! I just an so excited to meet him, and hold him, and finally be his mom. Do you blame me......? any ways I am off to try other tricks:))) Wish me luck!

Baby Update

Me and Mark headed off to the doctors today for our 37 week pregnancy visit. Seemed pretty busy today, we waited for almost an hour, but Dr Grover is a great doctor so I guess that is why we always have to wait a long. But anyways Baby Eldon is still cooking, and I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced!!! I was shocked I didn't think I would be that far, but great news, Dr said for a first baby that is really good to be that far along. I was just hoping that his head was going to be down, which it is, she said she was able to feel his head! pretty cool news. I called Momma to let her know the news, she was excited for me, but she kept saying "he is going to come before I get there!" She said she had a dream that he was going to come this weekend, and she said she was mad at me... we will see? It would be good to have him this weekend but at the same time, I think I will want mom to be there. But either way we are just here waiting on him!!!

Birthday Continued

Okay so it is my goal to get better at posting these blogs, it seems like i am always playing catchup!! Anyways... so here are a few of the great things I got for my birthday. I got these two great stuffed animals from build a bear, made by none other that Patrick and Brittani!!! they are so cute the frog was made by Pat, and names Piddle ( which is what his initials PTL would sound like) and an adorable monkey made by Brittani and named after her initials BRN, Burn. So I have Piddle the frog and Burn the monkey. They make a great addition to the nursery! Plus when i grew up I had a stuffed monkey that I took everywhere, except he could pick his nose and ears and stick his thumb in his mouth, toys are made so much different these days.

I also got some great sock... which you can never go wrong with new socks, they are just amazing, and I got a $40 gift certificate to Noodles- one of my favorite resurants, and the best purse ever... I love it, it is green and awesome, pat and dad did the shopping because mom had just gotten out of surger, but she told them what to get, I think they did a pretty great job!!





I found this green stuffed dog/ sqweeky toy inside of the purse, not quite sure if it was for me, but Bella sure had a grand 'ol time with it, so I think I am going to give that one to her.


Anyways that is it for birthday update, now I just have to catch up on the rest of the week!!

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I am 22 years old!!! today was my birthday, which started out just like any other day, I got up went to work came home and had a sudden burst of FREAK PREGNANCY CLEANING, which is never a good idea.. I will elaborate a little later on that one. But anyways the day got really good because around 6 My Daddy and my "Patty"- lil broder came by to celebrate with me and take me out to dinner. Mark - my love had to work which was a little bumer but he took me out to red lobster the Friday before my birthday with James and Lindsey Potts and my Emi! which was great.
Well Pat and dad took e to Brick Oven- Classic you just can't go wrong. Kristen, Nic's wifey came to celebrate also. I was just so excited to have time to spend with Dad, it is going to be so nice having him and mom just around the corner all the time!!! I think we might get on their nerves a little with being around so much, but I sure can't wait. Especially with our little guy on the way, I will have momma there to help me, and to call when I can't stop crying because I haven't slept in 4 days ( lets cross our fingers and hope that doesn't happen!!) but anyways birthday was great, here are a few pictures of what I got, and how spoiled I got!!! Especially by hubby- he bought me the most amazing glider chair, I love love love it!!! he is so good and knowing what I want and he gets it for me even when I don't deserve it or we can't afford it, he always finds a way to make it happen.... I will post more pics later it is late and hubby is snooring so i better wrap it up!!!
