Eldon's Blessing Day

Eldon Allen George was blessed on August 16th by his father at the Timpanogos Park 3rd Ward building, in the North Orem Stake. Mark gave such a sweet blessing to Eldon, I know he was nervous but he did a fantastic job!! Lets hope I don't forget anyone; we had Mark:my hubby, My Dad, Uncle Tony, Uncle Jack, Uncle Ron, Uncle Steve, Josh Rhees and Mark Thompson: Mark's Companions, David George, and Jeff George all stood in the circle. I have such a beautiful sweet son, with such a sweet loving personality. he remind me so much of my little brother, he even kinda looks like him too. thank you also to all the friends and family that came on our special day. After Sacrament we headed back to our apartment for root beer floats! After Everyone Left we took pictures of our cute little FROG PRINCE!! Ohh and if you are wondering why Eldon is in a dress, it is because that was the out fit that Mark was blessed in, and that Mark's Dad was Christened in, and that Mark's Dad's Grandmother made, so it is sort of a family heirloom I guess you could say! but doesnt he look cute in a dess anyways!! :)

Last night i went over to my mom's house! both Me and Eldon, daddy was working. We had a good time just watching happy movies, but the best part of the entire day was when my mom was talking to Eldon.Eldon just sat on her lap and cooed at everything she had to say. My mom started by saying that is my little girl over there and I love her very much, and she lives you very much, and she is trying to provide for your every need, but she needs you to go to sleep so that she can have enough to feed you... well the conversation went on like this for a while, until my mom realized that Eldon had peed on her, okay well just on the blanket in her lap, but still. Eldon Apparently did not like what she had to say. If I had one word to describe Eldon it would be persistent... he wants what he wants. My mom says however he is a little faker. She says his cries are so fake, which is most likely true but i am weak and I cave in to his every need. Anyways I will update more later but I thought this was a great little story, and insight on baby Eldon's little growing personality

Bath time

Eldon Had a tummy ache so I gave him a bath , he was not very happy with me when I took him out, but he had the most adorable cry I couldn't help but take a quick picture.



Okay I know this will be so embarrassing years from now for Eldon to look at, but look at how stinking cute he is with his cute little naked bum!!! I just love my son he is so cute. Check out his cute little mouth in this picture. Eldon is so adorable, I am such a proud momma!!

come find me mom!!

This is how I found Eldon the other day... him and his dad were playing hid and seek. I think Eldon is too cute for words in this picture. he is starting to have these really funny facial expressions, not really smiles yet but he will wrinkle up his forehead and he will pucker up his lips, it makes me smile all day long!

In the end it is all worth it

today was a pretty tough emotional and physical day:( to start out with my back has been killing me all day, especially where my epidural was. the pain starts there and then shoots down my left leg, It got so bad at one point that it was dropping me to my knees in pain, I was so lucky I wasn't holding Eldon or I think I may have dropped him. Then while dealing with the pain, Eldon has been very unsatisfied this evening. Mark left for work around 3:30 pm and He had put Eldon to sleep, at 6:30 Eldon had not woken up , and my lactation nurse told me to not let Eldon sleep ore than 2 hours during the day, and 3 at night ( I am trying to build up my supply and she says this is how it is done) so anyways I woke Eldon up fed him and changed him, and he still was fussing so I fed him again and from that point on Eldon just fussed and cried like I have never heard him cry before from then until almost 11:00pm!!! I was to the point of tears trying everything, and trying it again and again every ten minutes or so, I finally gave him a bath thinking he was just tired and needed something to relax him more... no that just made him more mad, It is the hardest thing for me to hear Eldon cry it just breaks my heart and when he doesn't stop sometimes I just cry right along with him. Finally he was able to settle down around 11:30 and eventually he wore himself out and fell asleep on me. And do you want to know what makes it all worth it ... right before he fell into a deep sleep, he flashed this adorable smile, and giggled!! Now I don't know if he was just laughing at me as sort of a " got ya Mom!" kinda deal or just gas but either way it was soooo cute, and worth the headache of this long day!

Goodbye to you

So one of Mark and mine best married friends are moving to Florida :( James and Lindsey Potts and their son Jem are moving for school, James is going to law school!! We are really sad they were one of the only married friends we really had around here. Well they came over and had dinner with us this weekend and here are a few pictures of our last night hanging out together in Utah.




Jem Does Tricks now!!!! he is so stinking cute I can't wait for Eldon to put on some chub!

Bridal Veil with the Family

Friday we had lots of errands to run and marky didnt have to be to work til 5 so we got to do them all together. We first went to the pediatricians to have a weight check done for Eldon. And I am proud to announce he is back to birth weight, actually he is 8lbs 9oz now!!! 3 oz more than birth weight, it took him a little while be he got there. then we went to the public records office to get Eldon's birth certificate. then we went to TJ Max and got a little front carrier so we could go on walks with the dogs more ofter with Eldon. After that we decided to make a spontaneous trip to Bridal Veil falls. I had never been and neither had Eldon. It was really nice, the trees were beautiful and the path that we walked on was nice, it was paved and it had alot of over hanging trees which was good because we forgot a hat for Eldon. Here are a few pictures of our adventure, and a few of us just hanging around the house the past few days!
